To celebrate the arrival of the new Heidelberg Versafire press that is now installed in the offices, PPS decided to donate a series of printed materials to local charities.
One of the local charities that the company supports is Anna's Hope and Carole from Anna's Hope came to collect a series of printed materials that PPS had donated to the charity, including leaflets, fundraising forms and brochures.
Anna's Hope is the leading children's brain tumour charity in the East of England and they are committed to giving hope to children and young people diagnosed with a brain tumour.
PPS have invested in the new machine to provide consistent and reliable delivery to local Peterborough and Cambridgeshire companies.
Managing Director Marcus Brailsford confirms “We are always looking at ways to streamline within the business and the major factor in our decision was Heidelberg’s Prinect workflows and the reassurance of working with a single supplier. What our customers want is high quality, consistency and reliable delivery and we believe that this is what the Versafire technology will give us.”
PPS Print celebrated 40 years in business in 2015 and extended its Peterborough Plant in Fengate last year and it is here that the new equipment will be located.
PPS Print likes the accessibility of the machine, allowing easy maintenance or sheet removal in the case of a jam and this will allow for faster turnaround times on print jobs for clients.
